Visitors step into “CYBER LOVE” and operate a radio-controlled car that runs across a diorama displayed within the venue.
AR visuals are composited in real time from the car’s point of view, allowing visitors to drive through a variety of worlds while being guided by navigation from an AI radio featuring original characters.
By seamlessly blending movements in the real world with digital direction and effects, the experience allows visitors to rediscover the joy of movement through a vision of future mobility.
■ Designing the driving experience of the future “CYBER LOVE” is not merely content to be viewed, but is built around an immersive, playful UX.
Visitors step into “CYBER LOVE,” begin driving while surrounded by a full-surround display,
and, based on information registered in advance, the AI radio engages them in personalized conversations.
In designing this experience, we placed strong emphasis on balancing “the joy of driving by operating mobility” with “the excitement of exploring a digital world.”
Interactions involving movement, visuals, and sound are designed to flow seamlessly, aiming to create a UX in which “driving” naturally connects with “play” throughout the experience.
■ Encounter future mobility across three AR worlds. Within the AR space that serves as the stage for the experience, there are three distinct worlds, each with its own unique character.
A neon city where urban lights dance.
An organic field that races through nature.
And a colorful, pop-inspired toon world.
Each space features its own unique visuals, sounds, and interactions, designed to stimulate users’ emotions.
These worlds also serve as metaphors for the diverse visions of future mobility envisioned by TOYOTA, and each is designed around the theme of “the joy of movement.”
In addition to game-like elements such as conversations with the AI radio and item collection, each world also offers encounters with its own distinctive vision of future mobility.
